About the Institution
Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women was started in 1968 with the donation of their Late Founder Chairman Shri Nanalal Bhatt and Cork Industries Charities Trust. This college is the first women’s college in the then Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu.
The College is affiliated to the University of Madras and offers 10 UG programs in Aided stream, 20 UG, 16 PG and 5 M.Phil programs in the self-support stream. The College provides opportunities to the women students to explore and deepen their academic interest and extension activities effectively.
