The Apollo Shine Foundation has been diligently working to develop a virtual health monitoring system to aid students, even when they are off-campus. This expanded scope now includes home-based accidents, mental health services, and a self-assessment tool.
The Shine Parivar app, available for download on both iOS and Android platforms, aims to replicate the Apollo Shine experience at home by providing initial consultations with school nurses and Apollo Shine doctors. With over 41 years of experience in Asia’s leading healthcare chain, we understand that people often hesitate to seek medical help, preferring to search online and self-diagnose.
The role of SHINE Parivar is to serve as a “phone-a-friend” companion, offering initial guidance. If further assistance is required, users can schedule appointments with Apollo Doctors or book tests via the Apollo 24/7 app, conveniently linked to SHINE Parivar. In emergency situations, users can contact Apollo’s nationwide ambulance network at 1066, all from the palm of their hand.
Additionally, the app encourages students to maintain their medical history and store health screening reports for quick reference. It adheres to all HL7 safety protocols, ensuring patient confidentiality.
